This is not a comprehensive list of every mask maker, but a general list of some of the more popular ones who are a safer bet. This list is currently growing and not yet in it's final form. Fantasy Masks
Strongly styled wigs are default, full-lock options, additional fees for extra large masks, Taobao store

Default is half-shell with EVA foam backside. 3/4 and full-lock option for some models, additional fees for accessories
Heyaoheyao (Maniajuns)
Custom 3d work is standard, commissions done outside Taobao have increased costs, standard with full-lock and integrated fan (minimally useful)
HiDolls
Dreammask's kigurumi sub-brand, mesh eyes are standard for semi-customs, Taobao store

Masks are half-type models with an option to either add a foam or FRP backside

Uses AI. Budget maker, quality highly varies and is incredibly dependent on the references being good. Generics have been questionable quality.

Maker Styles
Makers will often have signature styles that they are known for, and this can be seen in the masks they make. Sigma for instance is known for more of a vintage aesthetic compared to today's more moeblob anime designs.
Many makers can cover a range of styles, but if you have a specific style in mind, it's worth looking into a maker that is known for that style or has produced similar styles in the past.
