Intro to Kig.wiki Publications

tldr: Welcome to the Publications section of Kig.wiki, a spot for contributors to have their own spaces to write about Kigurumi topics and share their own experiences.

This has been a section I've been contemplating for a while now, and I'm finally getting around to it.

What and Why Publications?

So why you might ask a split between the main articles and a publications section?

Simply put, I want a space dedicated for vetted contributors to be able to author their own articles on topics, seperate from the general communal articles. Sometimes there are topics relating to personal experiences, opinions, or otherwise are intended to be researched publishings from specific authors rather than a general community article.

Some potential examples of topics that might better fit a publications section are:

• Personal experiences within specific niched (ie types of kigurumi masks, various hadatai options, etc)
• Documenting DIY kigurumi projects
• Kigurumi related research intended to be shared and cited
• Guides or tutorials
• Opinion pieces or reviews

Thats the intent of the Publications section. Not something to replace the main articles, but to synergize with them without taking away from the communal nature of the core site.

Who can have a publications section?

Ideally any vetted contributor whether directly or indirectly to the Kig.wiki community who has a desire to write about Kigurumi related topics.
